What foot and ankle problems do you treat?

We assess and treat a wide range of foot, ankle and lower-limb problems, including heel pain, plantar fasciitis, Achilles pain, tendon injuries, forefoot pain, ingrown toenails, nail problems, verrucae, corns, callus and biomechanical issues.

Do I need a GP referral to book an appointment?

No. Most patients self-refer directly to South London Foot Clinic. If you have referral notes, scan reports or letters from your GP, physiotherapist or consultant, please bring them to your appointment.

What happens at my first appointment?

Your first appointment usually includes a detailed discussion of your symptoms, medical history and activity levels, followed by a clinical examination. We explain the likely diagnosis, treatment options and recommended next steps.

How long are appointments?

Appointment length depends on the type of visit and treatment needed. You can check the booking page for appointment types and timings, or call us and we will help you choose the right appointment.

What should I bring or wear to my appointment?

Please bring any relevant scan reports, referral letters and a list of medications. If your symptoms are linked to work, walking or sport, it is helpful to bring the footwear you usually wear.

Do you treat sports injuries and running-related pain?

Yes. We regularly assess running and sports-related foot and ankle pain, including overload injuries and biomechanical issues. We can help identify likely aggravating factors and guide a return-to-activity plan.

Where can I see prices and how do I book?

What should I do if my problem is urgent?

If you have severe pain, a sudden inability to bear weight, suspected fracture, spreading infection or another urgent concern, seek urgent medical care. For non-emergency issues, contact our clinic and we will advise on the best next step.
